Lastname - Short Title [File Type]
- This is the recommended model for uploading your presentations. (1) You must be logged in. (2) Go to the appropriate folder, below. (3) Pull down the "add new item" menu (in the green bar along the top of the main frame) and select "file". (4) Fill in the "Title" field following the pattern above. The "File Type" would be something like "PPT", "DOC", "PDF", etc. Ideally, you should create two entries. One for the native format of your presentation, and the second for the PDF version. Having both allows people to access the PDFs quickly, but also be able to get at the native form later, if they need to extract something. To edit a file entry later, you need to (1) click the "contents" tab (above the green bar) on the parent page, (2) Click on your entry in the contents table, and (3) click the "edit" tab (above the green bar) and you'll see the same form as when you originally added the file.
